Empowering the Farmers with Agricultural & Horticultural Advancements.

Daylong regular sessions of the ‘Farmers Workshops’ are held concurrently with ‘International Agriculture & Horti Expo’ on all the 3 days of the expo.

More than 2500 progressive farmers from more than 24 states of India participate in the Farmers Workshops. We are expecting at least 3000 farmers to attend and benefit from the workshops this year. Learned scientists and other experts share their expertise and experiences with the farmers.

The objective of the Farmers Workshops is to enlighten the farmers about the advancements in agriculture and particularly in horticulture. Farmers will get an opportunity to learn about the new technologies, innovative methods to increase farm yield, schemes for financing and insurance and bridging knowledge gaps. The major thrust of the event is to educate, encourage and empower the farming community.

The scientists from internationally renowned institutes like ICAR, IARI, and other government and private institutions and companies working for the welfare and growth of the farming community share their research based innovations with the farmers.
